At VMware, I was responsible for ensuring that our sales community had the necessary resources to foster the best possible relationships and conduct well-informed discussions with their healthcare clients. This involved developing and disseminating creative new sales strategies and presentation techniques, as well as nurturing sales employees to become experts in their field. One of the key initiatives I spearheaded was the development of the Public Sector Days in collaboration with my colleagues. This event became the second-largest sales enablement program globally, with over 250 participants, second only to our Sales University.
Furthermore, I focused on imparting fundamental skills such as storytelling through seminars. These sessions equipped my colleagues with the ability to convey highly complex topics through easily understandable industry use cases. By leveraging these storytelling techniques, sales professionals were able to communicate intricate concepts in a relatable and compelling manner, enhancing their engagement with clients and driving more effective sales conversations.
